Adato’s redesigned website is a striking visual entity
The visual look, structure, usability and scalability of Adato's website, built in 2019, needed a makeover for this decade.
Adato Energia Oy is a training, communication and information services company serving Finnish energy companies. Adato makes the diverse and rapidly changing energy sector easy to understand, both for business customers and consumers.
We created the Adato WordPress website back in 2019, so it was a natural fit to continue to partner with Adato now. The visual look, structure, usability and scalability of the previous website needed a refresh for this decade.
Objectives of the redesign
Modern and responsive design: to create a visually appealing website that works well across devices.
Improved user experience: to clarify the structure and navigation of the site so that users can easily find the content they are looking for.
Accessibility: Ensure that the site is accessible to all users.
There was no need to change the platform and hosting service, so the new site was implemented as a customised and modular WordPress site, and the hosting partnership with Seravo will continue. WordPress allows for flexible content management and future extensions.
The site redesign began in April 2024, with customer satisfaction, ease of use and a cohesive visual identity as the measures of success.
End result
Adato liked the dark colour scheme, so we designed the visual look of the site around it.
An essential part of the site is an extensive training calendar, with training courses coming directly from the Visma system. A similar integration already existed on the old site, so it was easy to implement on the new site.
As a result of our collaboration, Adato now has a fresh, visually coherent, user-friendly and technically up-to-date website, launched in October 2024, which is easy to develop further as needed.
The redesigned website has received positive feedback from both users and stakeholders, and effectively supports Adato’s business objectives by providing up-to-date services to the energy industry.
